During this time there was a name change to FolderIconFix XP. Bugs have been fixed and it properly fixed Shell Icons in Windows XP. Now I have widened its usage and it could change the default location of the shell folders. Shell Folder paths are no longer guessed and they are read from the Registry. Well, Microsoft said a while ago there will be no more new Internet Explorer versions built. But things changed and now we are aware of the coming release of Internet Explorer 7. Now it's under active development. The main challenge is WMEncoder refusing AviSynth script files. While writing the CCE to WMV guide this idea was to born to create a tool to calculate the total time of a movie. Since the development is focus on to a DVD2WMV solution now, this will be the first and the last release of WM9 Bitrate Calculator 2.0 which was based on version 1.4 but developed furthur and extended to Windows Media Profile creation. The current code for WM9 Bitrate Calculator 2.0 will be used for DVD2WMV solution and that will announce the end of releasing WM9 Bitrate Calculator 2.0 as a standalone application.

Got inspiration to combine the WM9 Bitrate Calculator 2.0 with WMEncoder to create a DVD2WMV Encoder solution. This puts WM9 Bitrate Calculator 3.0 development in to question. Currently I have all the new algorhythm written in C# for WM9 Bitrate Calculator. However, since it's in C# 2.0 and needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run, I will postpone development on it indefinitely. I will probably rewrite the whole WMEncoder part in C# 2.0 and do a merge with WM9 Bitrate Calculator and release DVD2WMV Encoder 2.0 for use with .NET Framework 2.0. That sounds like a better idea. Okay so I am stuck with WM9 Bitrate Calculator 2.0 code which is kinda dodgy to me. It of course works but I just don't like the methods I have used. WM9 Bitrate Calculator 1.5 Build 1869 was sumbitted to SoftPedia. Awaiting response. This build slightly updated than the one currently published in MSUN. Just a minor fix in About Calculator window.

Complete URL Maker is now known as URL Wizard. This name change was needed to reflect the wide use of the application. Version 1.6 is the final version of Complete URL Maker. It is still not decided whether URL Wizard will be version 1.7 or version 2.0. This will be depended on the feaures added. Currently the C# code is being optimized. Native C# code is being added to completely get rid of VB.NET compiler services.
