Now this error in WME will really piss you off. ;) No matter how much RAM you got, no matter how much hard disk space left, you will get this error at any time you cannot predict. The only current workaround is using Quality VBR for video and encoding it in 1-pass. Here is the solution in Knowledgebase article as of today: Try 1-pass CBR for audio and 90% Quality VBR for video. Your WMV file size is unpredictable. However, as a general guide, a 2 hours fast motion mixed movie will occupy about half a DVD with 128 Kbps audio. Return code for this error is E_OUTOFMEMORY. I am guessing that this could happen if you don't have latest video card drivers installed. I am running Windows XP SP2 with default drivers to Radeon 9600 PRO. I have never got this error before (at the time I had ATI Drivers installed).

An update to AviSynth Script Generator 0.5 was released. This update was versioned as 1.0.0 and released as DVD2WMV Tools 1.0.0. It will no longer be released as a standalone file, but will be bundled with DVD2WMV Tools package. More information is in MSUN Newsletter 20050415 .
